Tami North
Graceland Day Care Director
Administration and Bookkeeping (Grace &
Graceland)
Maria has lived in
this area all her life. She is the only child of David and Regina
Perryman who are the pastors of Little Vine Church (since 1978).
During a fire and brimstone revival in September of 1980, she gave
her heart to the Lord and was baptized in water. The baptistery was
a cold river near our church. Glory! Maria's parents were
farmers. So, she learned a lot about hard work and service. After
graduating Conway High School, she studied Accounting at Vatterott
Business College. She got a job as a Secretary/Receptionist at
an insurance company in Marshfield. While working there she
started dating Juan Lopez whom she married in September of 1995.
Juan Gabriel was born in March of 1999. When Gabe was getting ready
to start kindergarten, Samuel David was born. Maria writes, "We
attended Grace Church for the first time after Samuel was born. I
took Gabe to the Vacation Bible School "Serengeti Trek." It was then
and there that I felt like I was home. The people were so sweet and
loving, I instantly felt like I was among family and friends. It
wasn’t long until we were 'plugged in.' I am on one of the worship
teams and I help with Administrative duties. At the beginning of
2007, I accepted the bookkeeping position at Graceland Early
Childhood Development Center. I have more recently started the
bookkeeping for Grace Church as well. Along with the rest of our
team, I have a heart for outreach in this area. It’s great living
here in Rogersville as I serve at Grace Church, worship My King and
love my
family."
